Last weekend I made some new friends but immediately lost them once I made their portraits . . .
The day after I did some real academic study at the DeYoung Museum drawing 'groovy tribal shit' . . .
I rounded off a stellar weekend sinking a couple of cold ones in an olde world inn where buxom wenches served thirsty knights fancy cocktails . . .
The End.

nice one, Matt! Kinda wish that bar actually DID look as fun as you've drawn it!
lovelly all around but the tavern there at the bottom is the tops. Them yankers and their baseball capped noggins need no further converts, tread carefully englishman lest you succumb to that tawdry 'style'... high five and so on
i'm entranced by that dog with his wine for some reason.
Great work!
glad this baseball caped yanker could be part of your stellar weekend, and a pleasure to be SERVED. Beautifully captured weekend.... how do we say in New English...oh yeah ..Right On! Too awesome to meet you and Jamie, shame the weekend had to end.
You should be used to drinking on your own by now?
Funny how the awesome drawings of the artist that were done that evening didn't make it into this post.

aaawww!!! you met a french bulldog in a bar! that's so totally cool - you crazy west coasters!
these are all fab, btw...love the last one - and that p.o.v!
is the knight quaffing a ladie's cocktail? it looks very demure from here. "-))
Thanks Froggie-does a Welshman count as a 'West coaster'? I guess so! The knight had to choose a drink with a straw so a refreshing caipirinha was his tipple.
Very funny!! I love the dog hahaha!
