More life drawing!




At last, after a gap of over 2 years the London chapter of the Animation Blogging Community have found a new, regular life drawing class to attend! Monday & Tuesday nights at the CANDID Arts Centre, Islington - behind Angel tube station. Here's what I did in the first session.

  3. Very strong drawings, Matt! I love the drawings on the diagonal on the second page, especially the one in the bottom right corner! A perfect gesture.....

    Twice a week? I think I really need to search out something in my area and get back into it as well.

  6. fantastico matt!! very strong posing and wheight in your sketches. I haven't attended live drawing since I was in the art school, and it wasn't very often then either. I do some in summer at the beach, but is a bit unconfortable... all those punks playing fotball over you... your brain melting under the sun...

    Are they teaching calsses or they are just models possing for some hours?

    Another life drawing session (untutored) that you can just drop in to without paying an annual membership up-front is the Toynbee Hall Art Club, EVERY Sunday all year round, at 2.30 pm at Toynbee Hall on Commercial Street, London E1. Five quid a session.
