Support me on PATREON!
I've posted free content to the web for years; drawings, designs, sketches, life drawings and over 200 films on my You Tube channel. I want to keep doing it and making more content about my art and animation so if you'd like to help me and get exclusive access to more of my art take a look at the membership tiers on the site and become a member here.
Become a Patron!
I'll be adding lots of content on storyboarding and all members receive a monthly pdf sketchbook.
Thanks,
Matt

Glen Keane animation art exhibition
The Glen Keane art exhibition at the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio, Bay Area. Also this summer the museum has a major exhibition on Disney's 'Nine Old Men' - the generation of animators that Keane learnt from. Worth a trip to San Francisco!

GESTURE DRAWING e-book
This is my book of sketches made in the life-drawing room at Pixar over 4 years. I studied the approach to Gesture Drawing where the pose is used as a springboard for the imagination. Story and character are the focus rather than anatomy.
Available as a digital e-book on Gumroad here
Practice is, of course, paramount to success; I would attend drawing classes twice a week at Pixar. When I worked in France with no regular art classes I still practised gesture drawing every day sitting outside cafes and drawing the people in the street. I have a book collection of these too available here

Painting MEXICO CITY
Mike Dutton, Matt Cruickshank and I headed down to Mexico's capital city for 5 days to explore and paint & draw. This was our 4th annual trip after New Orleans, Joshua Tree and Yuba County. (Videos of each trip are on my YouTube channel in the 'Three Artists Paint' playlist).
